SomosTorre: a whole city in one app.

The problem

A city’s information exists, but scattered: bus times in one place, incident reports in another, the events calendar in a third and local commerce nowhere at all. Nobody checks five municipal websites, so in practice that information does not exist.

What we built

A single app that aggregates more than twenty-five data sources and presents them as one. Real-time transport, incidents a resident can open from their phone and then follow, council paperwork, an events calendar, local commerce and an AI assistant that answers questions about the city. Web plus native iOS and Android apps published on both stores.

The hard part

Every source fails in its own way, and the app has to stay usable through all of them. Each integration has its own format, its own refresh rhythm and its own outages; what looks like a clean screen is mostly fault-tolerance work.

Recognition

SomosTorre is catalogued on datos.gob.es, the open data portal of Spain’s Ministerio para la Transformación Digital y de la Función Pública, and Eolas Prints S.L. is listed as a solution provider on the European Commission’s Smart Cities Marketplace. It has been entered for the World Smart City Awards 2026. The downloads are organic: zero spent on advertising.

And afterwards

We run it every day: monitoring, updates, new sources, and keeping both apps current with each iOS and Android release. It is our own on-call rota, not a support contract.
